Job Purpose:
To maximize sales by providing exceptional customer service in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Functional Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service, addressing all customer queries and comments to ensure satisfaction.
Order Processing: Take and process customer orders accurately and promptly.
Menu Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items to effectively describe and recommend products to customers.
Counter Setup: Set up the counter at the beginning of each shift, ensuring displays are correct and produce is fresh and labeled.
Stock Management: Maintain optimal stock levels to support smooth operations and meet customer demand.
Operational Procedures: Work within established procedures to ensure food and beverage preparation complies with company and municipal guidelines.
Storage Efficiency: Arrange for the efficient storage of goods in accordance with guidelines.
Waste Control: Work effectively to control waste of food and non-food items.
Hygiene Standards: Ensure the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation on the counter at all times.
Additional Tasks: Carry out additional tasks as instructed by management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Financial: Cost control and waste reduction.
Business Effectiveness/Productivity: Adherence to work and operating standards (e.g., hygiene, cleanliness, discipline) and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Customer: Customer satisfaction and feedback (both internal and external).
Education:
Certification in Food and Beverage/Catering is an advantage.
Experience:
1 year of experience in a customer-facing role.
