Job Description

The Commis 3 – F&B Culinary position at Jumeirah Al Naseem is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring culinary professionals looking to develop their skills in a luxury environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Ingredient Preparation: Gather, measure, mix, and prepare meal ingredients, sauces, and seasonings; wash, peel, and chop vegetables, fruits, and meats.
Dish Presentation: Prepare dishes such as salads and sauces with attention to detail and presentation quality.
Inventory Management: Ensure proper stock levels in refrigerators and freezers, document kitchen supplies, and notify supervisors of low stock.
Kitchen Maintenance: Follow daily ingredient collection and ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all kitchen areas.
Recipe Adherence: Work according to specifications for portion size, quantity, and quality as outlined in the recipe index.
Team Collaboration: Attend daily meetings with the culinary team and develop positive working relationships to support common goals.
Equipment Management: Report equipment issues to the Demi Chef or Chef de Partie and ensure necessary repairs are completed.
Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to health, safety, and HACCP procedures and Jumeirah’s standard operating procedures.

Ideal Candidate:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a luxury 5-star hotel or restaurant, preferably in a buffet setting. Experience in Dubai is preferred.
Communication Skills: Clear and effective English communication skills.
