Job Title: Sushi Chef

What You’ll Do
Culinary Operations
Manage Multiple Brands: Oversee one or several brands across multiple locations, ensuring seamless operations and culinary excellence.
Training & Coaching: Train and coach store teams to maintain excellent kitchen operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
Support Brand Launches: Play a key role in launching your brands in new locations and supporting the introduction of seasonal menu items.
Cost Control: Collaborate with the operations team to control food costs, manage wastage, and ensure product availability.
Scalability & Simplification: Champion efficiency and scalability in kitchen operations to improve productivity and simplify processes.
Recipe Ownership: Take ownership of the recipes and costing for your brands, maintaining data integrity within the ERP system.
Maintain Clean Work Environment: Act as a role model in promoting and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Brand Success
Culinary Playbook: Own and develop the culinary playbook for one or more brands, ensuring consistency across locations.
Collaboration with Consumer Team: Work closely with the Consumer Team to create product and marketing campaigns that align with the brand’s vision.
Brand Squad Partnership: Collaborate with Brand Managers as part of the Brand Squad to provide culinary expertise and innovative solutions.
Product Development: Lead product development initiatives following the New Product Development (NPD) brief, ensuring that new menu items meet brand standards.
Monitor Quality & Feedback: Continuously monitor product quality and customer feedback, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.

What Are We Looking For?
Experience: 3-5 years of experience leading or supporting brands in various cuisines, with a focus on either the Head Chef or Sous Chef role.
People Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor and train junior team members effectively.
Collaboration: Highly effective when collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including operations, consumer teams, and central production.
Standardization: Strong track record in implementing high standards and maintaining consistency across locations.
Industry Experience: Experience working in highly scalable fast-casual or casual dining brands is a significant advantage.
