Job Description

Job Title: Kitchen Equipment Technician

What You Will Have to Do
Periodic Inspections & Cleaning: Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and servicing of kitchen equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Work Order Management: Log into the work order management system to find, accept, and complete work requests efficiently.
Equipment Installation & Repairs: Install new kitchen equipment, repair leaks, adjust wiring controls, and replace worn-out or defective parts.
Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance workers, company officials, and staff to provide effective solutions to maintenance problems.
Emergency Repairs: Respond quickly to emergency repair calls, including after-hours maintenance issues.
Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor to maintain equipment and operations.

What We’re Looking For
UAE Drivers License: Must possess a valid UAE driver’s license to travel between work sites.
Knowledge of Kitchen Equipment: Profound knowledge of various kitchen equipment, including their functions and maintenance requirements.
Wiring Diagrams & Manuals: Strong ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams and follow manuals for the operation and installation of kitchen equipment.
Equipment Maintenance & Safety: Skilled in safely and efficiently applying various equipment maintenance and repair techniques.
Independent Worker: Ability to work independently, take responsibility for assigned tasks, and complete repairs without direct supervision.
Problem Solving: Strong investigative skills to identify issues with food equipment, diagnose problems, and make necessary repairs.
Teamwork & Communication: Ability to work collaboratively with other maintenance workers and communicate effectively with staff and the public.
Instruction Understanding: Quick comprehension and execution of both written and oral instructions.
Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computers for work order systems and reporting.
Experience: Prior experience in commercial kitchen or dining service equipment maintenance, with a focus on plumbing and electrical systems.
Knowledge of Plumbing & Electrical Practices: Strong understanding of plumbing repair and installation, as well as basic electrical practices, theory, and safety procedures.
