Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant will oversee financial reporting, manage core accounting functions, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. This role requires a highly detail-oriented and analytical professional with experience in financial management and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support informed decision-making.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
Review and reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring all filings are completed on time.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support.
Conduct internal financial audits and assist with external audit processes.
Maintain accurate documentation and records for all financial transactions, ensuring data integrity.

Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CA or CPA certification preferred.
Experience: 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role within the UAE.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
Competencies: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, effective communication, and leadership abilities.
Work Style: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
