Job Opportunity: Parts Counter Salesman – Dalma Motors
About the Role: Dalma Motors is seeking a customer-oriented and detail-driven Parts Counter Salesman to join our Spare Parts team. This role is critical for driving sales activities, enhancing customer satisfaction, and supporting the success of our parts operations by achieving revenue and customer retention goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction: Engage with customers at the counter and manage parts inquiries via email and phone.
Order Processing: Facilitate complete order fulfillment to provide a seamless customer experience.
Customer Service: Establish and uphold service guidelines to ensure customer satisfaction.
Sales Documentation: Ensure all parts sales are documented and approved correctly.
Sales Generation: Drive sales from both new and existing customers, meeting or exceeding margin targets.
Coordination: Follow up on quotes, payments, and conversions, maintaining smooth communication with customers.
Product Support: Offer technical advice and product recommendations to meet customer requirements.
Database Management: Keep customer records current, tracking sales, contact details, and new opportunities.
Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on trends and changes in the spare parts industry.
Additional Tasks: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Parts.
Qualifications:
Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain customer relationships.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Indian, Korean, and European commercial vehicle spare parts to offer informed product advice.
Organizational Skills: Proficiency in order management, customer coordination, and record-keeping.
Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively within the parts team and with internal departments.
Adaptability: Open to new tasks and flexible in a dynamic work setting.
