Job Opportunity: Corporate Lawyer – United Al Saqer Group, Abu Dhabi

About the Role: United Al Saqer Group (UASG) is seeking a skilled Corporate Lawyer to oversee and manage corporate legal matters across our group and subsidiaries. This role requires expertise in UAE law, corporate structuring, and compliance to support our business operations in a multi-jurisdictional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate and Legal Agreements

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents and corporate agreements, including MOAs, AOAs, shareholder agreements, business purchase agreements, and distribution agreements.
Ensure the effective drafting, interpretation, and vetting of all legal and contractual documents.
Operations Support

Provide support in identifying and mitigating legal risks across various business agreements.
Offer legal solutions aligned with the Group’s diverse operations in multiple jurisdictions.
Company Formation

Advise on company formation, restructuring, and winding up within the UAE, tailoring strategies to meet multi-jurisdictional needs.
Compliance and Governance

Implement corporate governance structures and support compliance across departments.
Provide legal advice on governance issues, including voting, proxies, and meeting protocols.
Legal Trends and Advisory

Keep the Group informed of relevant legal updates in the UAE and other jurisdictions where UASG operates.
Offer innovative, regulatory-compliant advice on legal and business matters.
Process Improvement

Drive improvements in legal processes to enhance efficiency within the legal team.
Communications and Management Support

Communicate relevant ICT standards and policies to business units.
Provide legal opinions and solutions to aid senior management in decision-making.
Ad-Hoc Reporting

Prepare reports and analyses for the Chief Legal Officer, detailing legal performance and insights.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role within a law firm or corporate group.
Proficiency in UAE law with a strong understanding of corporate structuring.
Native Arabic speaker with excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
Proficiency in MS Office.
