Key Responsibilities
Familiarize yourself with daily events and VIP arrivals to provide tailored service.
Have thorough knowledge of menu items, garnishes, ingredients, and preparation methods to assist guests with inquiries confidently.
Present children’s menus and explain daily specials and alternative cuisines.
Serve and clear food and beverages with professionalism and discretion.
Operate the POS system for processing orders, billing, and cashing out.
Set up, bus, and reset tables using proper linens, china, glassware, and silverware.
Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing issues promptly and escalating concerns to the manager when needed.
Follow cash and credit card handling procedures as per hotel policies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area throughout the service.
Polish silverware, replenish condiments and keep workstations stocked.
Record guest feedback and communicate any issues to management.
Handle and maintain operating equipment with care to minimize damage.
Adhere to safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies.
Foster a positive working relationship with colleagues and other departments.
Stay informed about hotel services, features, and F&B offerings to assist guests.
Perform opening and closing duties and ensure tables are set to standard.
Assist in reducing waste and ensuring proper use of supplies and equipment.
Support other F&B outlets during peak hours as needed.
Qualifications
Education: Secondary education.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in food and beverage service.
Public-facing and/or cashiering experience is a plus.
Skills: Additional language skills, particularly Russian, are an asset.
