Qualifications & Experience
Here are the key qualities and qualifications we seek in our cabin crew members:
- Hospitality/Customer Service Experience: You should have more than a year of experience in hospitality or customer service.
- Positive Attitude: A positive attitude and the ability to provide excellent service in a team environment are essential, as you’ll be dealing with people from diverse cultures.
- Educational Background: A high school diploma (Grade 12) is required.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in written and spoken English is a must, and the ability to speak another language is an advantage.
- Physical Requirements: You must be at least 160cm tall and able to reach 212 cm while standing on tiptoes to access emergency equipment on all aircraft types.
- Appearance: No visible tattoos while wearing the Emirates cabin crew uniform (without covering them with bandages or cosmetics).
- Location and Visa Requirements: You will be based in Dubai and need to meet the UAE’s employment visa requirements.
In addition to these requirements, you should be committed to maintaining the highest standards, focus on being solution-oriented, and be capable of managing a demanding work schedule. Salary & Benefits
At Emirates, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package:
- Starting Salary & Flying Pay: Your total pay consists of a fixed basic salary, hourly pay for operated flights, and an overseas meal allowance.
- Basic Salary: AED 4,430 per month
- Flying Pay: AED 63.75 per hour (based on an average of 80-100 hours per month)
- Average Total Pay: AED 10,170 per month (approximately USD 2,770, EUR 2,710, or GBP 2,280)
- Meal Allowances: Meal allowances for night stops are credited to your salary in arrears the following month.
- Accommodation and Transport: Hotel accommodation and transport to and from the airport are provided by the company.
