Job Description: Manager – Government Projects – SU

Core Responsibilities

Project Planning and Management:

Develop and oversee detailed project plans, objectives, milestones, scope, and budgets for government infrastructure projects.
Serve as the main liaison between Abu Dhabi Maritime and the Integrated Transport Center.
Track project performance, analyze data on progress, quality, costs, and compliance.
Risk Management and Process Improvement:

Identify potential risks and implement strategies for mitigation to ensure project success and adherence to compliance standards.
Recognize and implement opportunities for process improvement, streamlining workflows, and applying best practices to optimize project outcomes.
Stakeholder Relations and Market Analysis:

Oversee stakeholder engagement, addressing bottlenecks and issues to maintain high satisfaction.
Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, emerging clients, and competitor activity, aiding in strategic decision-making.
Ensure project compliance with regulatory standards, government policies, and strategic objectives.
Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and local communities, to ensure effective coordination.
Reporting:

Prepare and deliver regular reports detailing project status, challenges, and recommendations for improvements.
People Management Responsibilities

Guide project owners in effective project management and monitor their performance.
Resolve conflicts among team members or stakeholders to maintain a collaborative work environment.
Strategic Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of overarching strategic goals and objectives related to maritime projects.

Qualifications

Education:Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Certifications:PMP certification is highly desirable.
Skills:Strong analytical skills, risk management, stakeholder management, and proficiency in strategic planning and compliance.
